Records
This area of the web will be dedicated to actual data. From this page you will be
able to reach all of the records we have available. Each is listed at the left. Some have several sub-pages.
We have changed some of these pages to make searching easier
and faster. Notes on searching:
- The updated Surnames link is the place to start - you can
see where your surnames are in the records and explore alternate
spellings.
- Standard internet search rules apply: if you put in the first
few letters of the last name, you will get back more records than if you put in
the whole name. This may help with spelling errors/differences.
- There are two ways to search:
i.e., in the census' you can search by last name and by census page
number. Try both ways - you may find data you would not otherwise
get. For example, if you look in the last name and find your
ancestors, check the page number they are listed under and there may be
relatives living in the same house or as neighbors.
Browse around... you might find your long-lost cousins!
