Thiede Cemetery    (no grave layout)

This cemetery is located at the Oyster Bay Development, near O'Neal, Florida. To reach it from Fernandina: Go west on A1A towards Yulee. About 1/4 mile west of the O'Neal light, turn north (right) onto Barnwell Road and go 2.2 miles to Oyster Bay guarded gate community. Go through the Oyster Bay entrance and straight ahead for 0.3 mile. Turn left for 0.2 mile, turn left and then make an immediate left. Go 0.1 mile to cemetery. Since improvements are being made at Oyster Bay and new roads cut, it may be necessary to get directions from the office.

The cemetery is enclosed by a stone wall about 2 feet high. There are steps into the burial plots on both sides of the wall. An ornate floral spray of roses is carved into the Caroline Thiede monument. The cemetery is set on NE/SW direction
