
Publications The society has a monthly newsletter, The Geneline , a quarterly booklet, The Nassau Genealogist , and has made available three books , The Original Section of Bosque Bello Cemetery , The Cemeteries of Amelia Island and The Cemeteries of Nassau County, Florida . The Geneline is published monthly and mailed to subscribing members who do not have online access. All computer-enabled members receive the Geneline via email. Below one can view, print, and/or download the Portable Document Format (PDF) version of the Geneline by clicking the desired issue.
The editor, Frances Bartelt, would appreciate contributions to this publication and can be reached by e-mail. The AIGS has published The Nassau County Genealogist each quarter since 1994. Copies can be ordered from the society as follows: Volume I - Individual copies for $3.50 or $10.00 for the set of three issues. Volume II through the Current Issue - Individual copies for $3.50 or $12.00 for each set of four issues. This book adds the more recent Bosque Bello burials as well as as those that could be found in other Amelia Island cemeteries and small, private burial grounds. Click here for the order form. Price: $22 including shipping The Original Section of Bosque Bello Cemetery In 1988, the General Duncan Lamont Clinch Historical Society of Amelia Island, Harold J. Belcher, editor, published The Original Section of Bosque Bello Cemetery. In 1999 the AIGS republished this book with permission. The Cemeteries of Nassau County Florida In November 2000, the Amelia Island Genealogical Society published the Cemeteries of Nassau County, Florida, Jean Mann,editor. The book adds the cemeteries and burial grounds off-island to those documented on Amelia Island in the first two books. Nassua county is a large and sparsely populated area and was among the earliest in Florida to receive pioneer settlers. There is a complete index both in the book, and online.
